The 2012 Mission Trip is quickly approaching and we are already making great progress on our fundraising.
Faith came up with the idea to sell cake truffles at her school and was able to raise about $150 for the trip :) We also worked the church PEAK Team yard sale yesterday and that will earn some money towards our trip as well...so we have hit the half way mark and are working extra hard to raise the remainder of the funds as quickly as possible.
The team has already had the opportunity to do a few local ministry outreaches...Faith was super excited that she got to pray with two littles girls at the last outreach who accepted Jesus into their hearts. Today they danced in all 3 services at church and they will be ministering again this Saturday at a program for kids with special needs...they are very excited! June 2nd is their all day practice day...one last all day practice to fine tune their dances and dramas before hitting the road on the trip. Then June 6th will be PEAK night in the sanctuary...this is the night that the kids get to perform their routine and minister to the adults in the main sanctuary...this prepares them for what to expect once we are on the road.
